アメリカのビート・ジェネレーションの中心的メンバーの一人であり詩人のALLEN GINSBERG。最も影響力があるビートジェネレーションの中心人物にして、政治的に活動的なアメリカの詩人の一人である。

学者、そして教師でもあり、その自由で妥協のない出版物は、何世代もの作家や詩人にインスピレーションを与え続け、世界中の読者のもとで実に22以上の言語に翻訳されている。

1989年にリリースされた氏の言葉（朗読）をまとめた作品『HTE LION FOR REAL』が8曲の未収録曲を追加されヴァイナル・リイシュー。

プロデュ―スは2020年に他界したレジェンドHal Willner。バックミュージシャンはThe Lounge LizardsのArto Lindsay, Marc Ribot、Ginger Baker TrioのBill Frisell, Tom WaitsやJonathan Richmanと親密なRalph Carneyが大集結。
